The CANY University Membership enhances the connection between Canadian universities and their NYC-based alumni, offering local programming and meaningful engagement.

CANY has established a membership tailored to our Canadian university partners, with a view to delivering a consistent year-long engagement and benefit delivery consistent with CANY's other membership offerings. Membership provides annual benefits to Canadian universities seeking to leverage CANY's convening capability, meaningfully engage new and current alumni, and address common gaps in local programming (e.g., Canada Day) while strengthening ties between NYC alumni to Canada.

CANY Individual Membership Gifts

Member Universities can designate 20 alumni for complimentary individual memberships to CANY ($400 annual value). CANY membership provides access to CANY member-only events and valuable discounts on our entire calendar - a great way to welcome Alumni to NYC or a great gesture to your most loyal local contributors!

Canada Day Event Partner

CANY hosts Canadians in NYC for its annual Canada Day Celebration, providing a natural opportunity to convene local alumni groups.

• $5 ticket discount for alumni of CANY university members
• Registration data shared for any alumni attending with the discount
• Promotional recognition in emails and social media
• Acknowledgement of membership with logos on event banners / signage
• Table at venue provided to convene local alumni group

Our largest and most family-oriented CANY event with over 2,500 participants.

Canadian University Alumni Reception

Long-standing focal point for our University partners that convenes 400+ Canadian University Alumni in NYC. University members receive incremental benefits and visibility/recognition at the event

• Prioritized access to choose table placement in floor plan
• Acknowledgement of membership in event signage and podium mention

Ticket Purchasing Flexibility

Invoicing is available for bulk ticket purchases (10 minimum) to any CANY event.

The fee for University membership is $1,000/year and renewable annually.
